How do I know if my home is suitable for solar?
Most homes are suitable to some degree — it depends on your roof's direction, pitch, shading and your energy use. The easiest way to find out is a free survey, where we'll give you an honest assessment rather than a sales pitch.
Do I need a battery as well as panels?
Not necessarily, but a battery lets you store energy you generate during the day (or buy cheaply overnight) and use it in the evening — which usually makes a bigger difference to your bills. We'll talk you through whether it stacks up for your home.
What does it have to do with Octopus Energy?
We're an Octopus Energy Trusted Partner, which means we can help make sure your solar and battery system works neatly alongside the right Octopus tariff to get the most out of it. You don't have to be an Octopus customer to use us, though.
How long does an installation take?
A typical domestic solar and battery install is usually completed in a day or two, depending on the size of the system and your property. We'll give you a clear timescale in your quote.
Is there a cost for a quote?
No. The survey, design and written quote are all free and come with no obligation. You only go ahead if you're happy with the figures.
